Technology
The Polycom Soundstation IP 7000 is a VolP Conference Phone that uses Polycom HD Voice technology to enhance clarity during conference calls. The system also uses the patented Polycom Acoustic Clarity technology to further improve the conference telephone experience. You can also integrate the Soundstation with the Polycom HDX Video Conferencing System to suit various environments and different types of rooms. The Soundstation's integrated XHTML microbrowser lets you use applications that make the conference call experience easier.
Specifications
The Polycom Soundstation's microphone can pick up sound up to 20 feet away from the system; an optional microphone expansion can increase this distance. You can power the Soundstation with an Ethernet connection. The Soundstation's Polycom HD Voice technology supports high-fidelity 22 kHz calls. The VolP conferencing platform enhances the Soundstation's effectiveness by "leveraging the most advanced SIP conferencing endpoint software in the industry, with advanced call handing, security, and provisioning features," according to Polycom.
