By default, album artwork displays whenever it is synchronized from your iTunes program to your iPhone, but you can remove it if you wish to conserve space.Instead of showing the album cover the iPhone will display a blank image with a musical note, which is the default image used when no artwork is available.
Instructions
1. Run iTunes and click the "Music" tab in the program's side window.
2. Right-click the song(s) you want to change. Select "Get Info" in the shortcut menu, click "Artwork" and click the album image.
3. Click "Delete" and "OK". Plug the iPhone 3G's cable into your Mac or PC's USB port and plug the remaining end of the cable into your iPhone.
4. Click "File" at the top of iTunes and click "Sync" to sync the update information to your iPhone 3G.
5. Click the "Eject" button next to the iPhone's tab in iTunes to disconnect the iPhone 3G from your computer. When the song is played, the default "No artwork" image will appear.
