The Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) card of your Moto Razr phone stores information about your phone such as speed dial phone numbers and contact information. You can transfer this data between phones by removing and replacing the SIM card; if you own a Moto Razr, you will need to disassemble a portion of the phone to access the SIM card storage unit.
Instructions
1. Remove the battery cover. Turn over the Razr phone and pop open the battery cover using your fingers or the flathead screwdriver. If you are using the flathead screwdriver, apply only light pressure to the base of the battery cover and lift upward; set the battery cover aside.
2. Locate the SIM card. The SIM card is tucked under a metal holder to the right of the battery. You will find it directly under the barcode label on the phone.
3. Remove the SIM card. Slide the SIM card gently out of its holder with your fingers. You can pull it out of the holder from the top; set aside in a safe place.
