Your Panasonic projector television produces high quality audio and video so you can enjoy your favorite sporting events, movies and comedies. However, like every television, there are times when you need to fix some quirks that might appear. You can take care of minor problems on your own instead of calling in a pricey service person to fix it for you.
Instructions
Poor Picture Quality
1. Access the "Main Menu" with your Panasonic remote control. Press "Menu" to display the "Main Menu," then press "Picture" to access the "Picture Menu."
2. Use the "Up" and "Down" arrows on the dial in the middle of your remote to select each menu item. Use the "Right" and "Left" arrows on that same dial to adjust each menu item.
3. Click on "Normal" to restore your Panasonic projection TV to its factory default settings. Choose "Picture" to adjust the white areas of the picture. Select "Brightness" to adjust the dark areas of the picture.
4. Adjust the "Color" until it meets your desired color intensity. Notice the change in natural flesh tones when you adjust the "Tint." Add clarity to outline detail when you adjust the "Sharpness."
5. Change your "Color temp" (Color temperature) if you want to increase or decrease warm colors, like red, or cool colors, like blue. Fine-tune "Color Mgmt." (Color management) to enhance blue and green on your screen, which is especially noticeable when outdoor images display on your screen. When your Panasonic projection TV receives a 1080i (HDMI) signal, this feature automatically turns "Off."
Low or No Audio
6. Press "Volume Up" on your Panasonic television remote control to see if your TV was on "Mute." If so, "Volume Up" automatically takes the television off "Mute." Pressing "Volume Up" will also turn up the volume in the event it was accidentally turned all the way down.
7. Access the "Main Menu" with your Panasonic television remote control by pressing the "Menu" button. Click on "Audio," then on "Other Adjust."
8. Use the arrow down buttons on your remote control to highlight "Speakers," and make sure they are "On."
Reset Your Television
9. Press the "Power" button on the display console of your Panasonic projector television. Hold it down for seven seconds. The screen will go black.
10. Wait five seconds. Turn the TV on to see if the problem is fixed.
11. Unplug your television from the wall if you still have problems. Wait five minutes.
12. Plug your Panasonic projector television back into the outlet and see if that fixed the problem.
