Charge Batteries In A Kodak Easyshare

There are a number of ways to charge a Kodak EasyShare camera battery.

Kodak's EasyShare digital camera range offers a large collection of point-and-shoot and higher performance digital cameras. All models have a number of ways to recharge the battery. Whether you prefer to use a wall socket, USB cable or a traditional external charger, it can all be done with a Kodak EasyShare. A single charge of one of these batteries will provide between 200 and 250 digital photographs.

Instructions

Using a Battery Charger

1. Open the battery slot on the camera and remove the battery.

2. Slide the battery into the charger, making sure the arrow is facing towards the pins. Push the battery all the way up until it connects with the wall at the end.

3. Insert the charger lead into both the charger and a wall socket. The light on top of the charger will turn red to indicate it is charging the battery. Wait until the light turns green (this will be no longer than one hour).

4. Remove the battery from the charger and insert back into the camera slot. Make sure the arrow on top of the battery is facing towards the camera's battery slot when inserting.

Using a USB Cable

5. Turn on your computer. Make sure that the camera battery is in your EasyShare camera. If you're using a laptop, ensure its power cable is plugged in to prevent it running out of battery.

6. Insert the smaller end of the USB cable into the camera's USB slot. It will be marked with a symbol representing a three-pronged fork.

7. Plug the larger end of the cable into your computer's USB slot. Some EasyShare models automatically begin charging (this will be shown with a blinking light on top of the camera). If you don't see a blinking light, turn on the camera, which will then start it charging. Wait until the light stops blinking (this will be no longer than one hour).

8. Turn off the camera and remove the USB cable.

Using an EasyShare Dock

9. Insert the camera onto the docking system by gently pushing it down on the set of pins on the face of the dock. The camera must remain upright.

10. Plug the power cable into the dock and a wall socket. Depending the model of camera, either a red or flashing green light will appear on the top of the camera. Wait until this light becomes solid green (this will be no longer than one hour).

11. Remove the camera from the dock by gently lifting it upwards.
