The Flip video camera
The Flip video camera is a great little gadget for people who want to take simple videos and upload them easily onto YouTube and other websites. The camera is very basic, with few buttons to confuse beginners, and it's small enough to take anywhere. Following a few easy steps, you will be able to get your camera up and running right away.
Instructions
1. Turn on the device by sliding the button on the right side of the camera, with the screen facing you.
2. Press the red button to begin recording. Record a few seconds of test video. Hit the red button again to stop recording. You can zoom in and out with the plus and minus buttons above and below the record button.
3. Press the button with the triangle symbol to play back the video.
4. Scroll through the videos by pushing the left and right arrow buttons on either side of the record button.
5. Delete any videos you don't want by scrolling to the selected video and pressing the button with the trash can icon.
6. On the left side of the camera, slide the button down to flip out the USB plug. Connect the camera to your computer's USB port. The Flip software will automatically start; follow the installation directions.
7. Once the software is installed on your computer, you will be able to save your Flip videos onto your computer, combine them into longer videos, add music and titles, and even upload your movies to YouTube.
