Connect Your Sony Dvps9000es Cd/Dvd Player To An Amplifier

Do you want a bigger sound from your Sony DVP-S9000ES CD/DVD player? The best option is to connect the CD/DVD player to an amplifier--also called a receiver-- in order to get a better sound through your speakers, especially when the DTS or Dolby Digital decoder facility is not built-in. You can connect to the amplifier using a coaxial or optical cable, through the MD deck or DAT deck. Follow these steps to connect your Sony DVP-S9000ES CD/DVD player to an amplifier.

Instructions

Connect the Amplifier to MD Deck, DAT Deck

1. Connect the digital optical cord. Insert one end of the optical cord to the optical digital input jack of the amplifier.

2. Remove the small cap on the digital out (optical) jack on Sony DVP-S9000ES and insert the free end of the optical cord. You can also use a coaxial cable, instead of an optical cord.

3. Connect one end of the coaxial cable into the input jack on the amplifier. Insert the other end into the digital out (coaxial) jack into your Sony DVP-S9000ES CD/DVD player.
