Put Music On A Micro Sd Card

Micro SD's incredibly small size allows it to be used in numerous devices.

Although many MP3 players possess internal memory, some devices can also read from add-in micro SD cards. These pinky-nail-sized cards can store as much as their standard SD card equivalent, but with greater versatility, because of their small size. Using an external card allows you to add music to your MP3 player without having to connect the player to your computer. All that is required is a card reader to access an SD card, and a card adapter to allow the micro SD card to function as a standard SD card.

Instructions

1. Insert your micro SD card into the card adapter.

2. Insert the SD card adapter into your USB card reader.

3. Insert your USB card reader into an available USB port on your computer. Windows 7 will automatically recognize the card reader.

4. Click "Start" and select "Computer" to launch Windows Explorer.

5. Go to the folders that contain your music files.

6. Hold down the "Ctrl" key and click multiple music files. To select all music files in a folder, hold "Ctrl" and press "A."

7. Hold the "Ctrl" key and press "C" to mark all selected music files for copying.

8. Click the drive letter of your micro SD card.

9. Hold the "Ctrl" key and press "V" to copy the previously selected files onto your micro SD card.

10. Right-click the micro SD drive letter when copying is complete and select "Eject." Remove your micro SD card.
