Head Set Problems

A wireless head set connects to your cell phone and allows you to manage phone calls while driving. Once the device is active, you might experience problems with headset to phone connectivity.

Reset

If the headset isn't communicating with the phone, reset it. Plug the charger into the headset; allow five seconds to pass and detach the charger from the headset. The reset won't affect pairings or stored data.

Boom

If you're having trouble pairing the headset to your phone, confirm that the boom mic is closed on the headset. Push the "Multifunction" button on the headset for approximately three seconds. When the headset turns on, open the boom.

Discovery

Set your phone to do a "Device Discovery." A list of found devices will appear on the phone; select the headset from the list and push "Yes" on the phone. Allow a few seconds to pass for the phone and headset to make a connection. If a password is needed, type in "0000" and push "OK."
