Configure Bluetooth On A Dell Axim

Bluetooth technology frees your Dell Axim from wires. You can take it almost anywhere and still stay in touch with friends or do business in the car. You can even dance the samba while checking your email. Configuring a Bluetooth connection on the Axim X3, X5, X30 and X50 models is pretty simple. Follow these steps to configure Bluetooth on a Dell Axim X3, X5, X30 or X50.

Instructions

1. Turn on your Axim to access the "Today" screen. Or, when the Axim is on, tap the "Start" button with your stylus. Then tap "Today" to get to the screen.

2. Look at the right-hand side of the lower portion of the "Today" screen. Find the "Bluetooth" icon, which looks a little like an angular capital "B." Tap this icon to get a pop-up menu.

3. Pick the "Bluetooth Manager" from the pop-up menu. Then tap "New" to get connected to another Bluetooth-enabled device.

4. Use your stylus to select "Explore a Bluetooth Device." This will display a list of the Bluetooth devices in range. Find the device you want to connect with on the list and tap its name.

5. Choose the service you want to use to establish the connection. Tap "Finish" to end the configuration process.

6. Find the newly-created connection under "My Shortcuts." Tap "Connect" to bring the connection to life.
