Visit Marcus Theaters At A Discount

Get discount coupons.

Marcus Theaters are a full-price, first-run theater with multiple locations in the Midwest. You may enjoy seeing movies at Marcus Theaters, however, you may end up paying full price for a ticket and the cost for a family of four can eliminate full price movies as an entertainment option. However, this does not have to be the case if you visit Marcus Theaters at a discount.

Instructions

1. Look in your Entertainment Book or a fundraising group's book such as Gold-C. There are several Marcus Theater coupons that allow you to buy up to four admissions at a discount after 6 p.m. This does not include "special attractions" or "pass list suspended" movie listings. Check online or the newspaper entertainment section listings for specific details.

2. Go on a specific day to the designated discount movie. For example, the theater may be showing a new movie for $5 on Tuesdays all day. The movie is different each week, but the day of the week is the same at all Marcus Theaters.

3. Go to Frosty Flicks in the winter on Saturday mornings at 10 a.m. or Kids Rule in the summer on certain weekdays at 10 a.m. These movie selections change weekly and are always family-friendly. Some of these movies are on DVD or in the Budget Theaters, but can be seen once again on the big screen. You not only receive a steep discount over normal admission fees, but also receive a free small popcorn with each admission, saving you even more money. These movies are listed in all Marcus Theaters ads in the newspaper. You can also visit the movie theater's website and see what movie is featured this week in your area.

4. Visit the theaters when senior discounts are given. This varies by theater, as does the cost of the ticket. You must be over 60 years old for most theaters. Bring your ID with your birth date in case you are asked for validation. Children under 12 are also admitted to movies for a slight discount, so be sure to ask for a child's ticket.

5. Visit eBay.com and type in "Marcus Theaters Tickets (or gift cards)." This will bring up a search that provides all tickets and gift card sales at that time. If there are none, you may want to visit at a later date. You can also go to Craigslist.com and see if there are any listings under the "tickets" classification.

6. While you are at any Marcus Theater, enter to win tickets by filling out a small entry form. This is fun and free and there is no obligation to purchase anything in the future.

7. Purchase packs of theater movie tickets while you are visiting the Marcus Theaters. You'll get a 10-pack of tickets at a discounted price. Typically, these tickets are evening price tickets sold for the matinee price. You will even get a free small popcorn tickets with your purchase.
