Identify A Delco Cd Player Model

Delco makes a variety of CD players for use inside the dashboard of cars. Many different types of cars come with a Delco radio/CD player factory installed. If you're trying to determine what model of CD player you have, either for your own edification or for technical support purposes, you can find out this information in one of a few different ways.

Instructions

1. Examine the front of your Delco CD player to see if the model number is printed on the faceplate of the unit. Certain Delco CD player models will have this information on the front of the unit in an easily visible location, oftentimes next to the "Compact Disc Digital Audio" logo.

2. Look inside the manual that came with your car. If your car came with a Delco CD player factory installed, this manual will have information about the CD player (including the model number) listed within its pages. This manual will also have information about the basics of use the CD player, as well as a few tips on troubleshoot issues you're having with it.

3. Use a screwdriver to pull your Delco CD player out of the dashboard of your car. You don't need to completely disconnect it, rather you just need to pull it out so that you can see the back panel of the unit. On the back panel of this unit will be an identification label that contains a variety of information, including the model number and unique serial number of your exact Delco CD player.
