Operate A Canon Sure Shot Bf Point & Shoot Camera

You can use film on your Canon Sure Shot BF camera.

The Canon Sure Shot BF is an introductory camera with a minimum of features. This fixed-zoom lens uses 35mm film and has a large viewfinder LCD display on the back. If you have recently purchased a Sure Shot BF, here are a few tips on using the camera.

Instructions

1. Open the film compartment on the rear of the camera. On the left side is the film canister dock. Set the roll of film into this dock, then roll out the strip of film and align it with the right end of the camera. Close the compartment and turn the camera on. It will automatically catch the film leader and wind up the film. Do not open the film compartment until you have shot all the film.

2. Point the camera toward the subject. The LCD viewfinder on the rear of the camera displays what the lens sees. Press the "Capture" button to shoot a photo.

3. Flip the switch on the front of the camera to turn on the flash. This is useful in low-light settings. A green light on the back of the camera signals when the flash is ready for use. Once you press the "Capture" button, the flash fires right before the image is recorded.

4. Shoot the entire roll of film and the camera rewinds it. Open the rear film compartment and remove the film. Have the film developed.
