Save Windows Mobile Contacts

The latest version of Windows Mobile, version 6.5.3, introduced many changes to the familiar Windows Mobile format, including the contacts screen. Adding and saving contacts to your Windows Mobile phone is possible through the contacts screen. Once you've added a contact, you'll be able to easily dial her number by accessing the contacts list. Saving your contacts helps keep you organized.

Instructions

1. Tap the "Windows" logo on your screen, and then tap the blank picture of a person's head. This is the contact manager.

2. Tap the "New" button to create your contact. Choose your contact type. You may be able to choose "Windows Live," "Outlook Contact" or "SIM Contact." On many models, these options are not available and the system will take you directly to the "Enter a Contact" screen.

3. Tap the field for the person's name, and then enter the name using the keypad or on-screen keyboard. Repeat this for the other fields. The only fields required are "Name" and "Telephone Number," but you can enter other fields as well, such as "Email" and "Address." Tap "OK" to save the contact.
