Making Karaoke CDs is easy with the right software.
Karaoke parties are a great activity for children and adults.Getting everyone involved in the music and performance aspect is exciting as well as a good way to learn about new kinds of music--not to mention the actual lyrics to the songs. Making your own karaoke CDs requires the software and the lead-vocalless audio tracks. The karaoke files to be burned to CDs are known as CD+G (or CDG) files, and they are composed of the audio track plus the lyrics graphics.
Instructions
1. Download or purchase karaoke software. Popular choices are Microstudio and Karaoke CD+G creator. Both these programs have the ability to rip and mix other karaoke CDs and create original graphics (lyrics) to go along with audio tracks.
2. Create a playlist of karaoke tracks. Most karaoke programs have the ability to rip CDG files from other karaoke CDs onto a computer. You can also purchase CDG files from karaoke websites and add that to the programs library. Original songs or alternate lyrics to karaoke tracks can be used as well, using the lyrics graphics creator.
3. Insert a blank CDR into the computer's CD burner. Almost any current CD burner has the ability to burn these CDR tracks onto the CD, which then can be read by an external karaoke machine.
4. Burn the playlist songs onto the CD using the software.
