The Sony STR-D615 home radio receiver has two methods for tuning the radio. The first method is direct tuning, which allows you to enter the exact radio station using the numbered buttons on the receiver. The second method is automatic tuning, which allows you to scan through the station. Both methods allow you to tune to your favorite radio stations on the STR-D615.
Instructions
Direct Tuning
1. Press the "Power" button on the front of the receiver to turn on the unit.
2. Push the "FM/AM" button to the left of the LCD screen to choose between the FM or AM band.
3. Tap the button labeled "Direct" to enter the direct input tuning, then press the numbers for the radio station you want to tune in. For example, if you are tuning 97.3, press "9," "7" and then "3."
Automatic Tuning
4. Turn the Sony STR-D615 on by pressing the "Power" button.
5. Press "Tuner" on the receiver and then the "FM/AM" button.
6. Change the station by pressing the "Tuning +" or "Tuning -" buttons until you reach the desired station.
