Digital photography has almost completely displaced film-based photography. If you have an old Polaroid camera and you're not sure what to do with it, consider recycling it instead of throwing it out. There are a couple of options you can take advantage of if you wish to recycle your camera.
Instructions
1. Locate a local computer or electronics recycling center and bring the camera to them for recycling. These establishments can disassemble and properly route the plastic and associated pieces from the Polaroid camera to the appropriate recycling centers. Many computer recycling facilitates will also pay you a small amount for the donated device.
2. Consider selling the camera to a camera collector or photographer. Despite the popularity of digital photography, people may still be interested in using or owning a vintage device because of its rarity and uniqueness.
3. Give the camera to a local school, charity, or Salvation Army who may be able to benefit from the camera's use. This option can give you the satisfaction of donating to a local charity and can also provide you with a tax deductible donation.
