Digital cameras are great, but sometimes you need more storage than you have on the digital camera card. In that case, pick up a flash drive. These beauties are inexpensive and hold many more photographic images than a mere card.
Instructions
1. Place your digital camera card into the card reader of your computer. Download the photos it holds. They will appear on your computer screen before asking where you want to save them.
2. Choose the USB slot that pertains to your flash drive. Put your flash drive in that drive.
3. Go back to the camera card drive. Mark the images you want to save to the flash drive. Press the "Copy" icon or select "Copy" by right clicking your mouse.
4. Select the drive that pertains to your flash drive. Press the "Paste" icon or select it by right clicking the mouse.
5. Allow the images to travel to the flash drive. Call up that drive to be sure they all are where you want them.
6. Consider what you want to do next. You can either delete the images from the camera card or leave them.
