Text Message on a Motorola Cell Phone


Motorola cell phones are capable of many messaging functions. Among them is text messaging--a good way to stay connected with others throughout the day. Check with your phone carrier (Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, etc.) to determine whether text messaging is included in your current service plan, or whether you'll have to pay extra for it.


Instructions


Type and Send Text Message


1. Click the "Menu" button on the home screen of the Motorola.


2. Select "Messages."


3. Select the option to "Create Message" or "Compose."


4. Type the text message content that you want to send.


5. Select the option for "Send to."


6. Select a contact from your contact list or type in a new number.


7. Click the option for "Done."


8. Select the "Send Message" option.


Read Text Messages


9. Click the "Menu" button on the home screen of the Motorola.


10. Select "Messages."


11. Scroll to and select "Inbox."


12. Scroll to and click the text message that you want to read.


13. Press the "Reply" option if you want to reply to the received message.


Delete Text Messages


14. Click the "Menu" button on the home screen of the Motorola.


15. Select "Messages."








16. Scroll to and select "Inbox."


17.Scroll to the message you want to delete from the phone.








18. Select "Options" and then click "Delete."
