Retrieve Deleted Pictures From A Cell Phone

Retrieve Deleted Pictures from a Cell Phone

Deleted photos from a cell phone can be a real hassle, since they are generally taken on the spur of the moment and cannot be replaced. However, deleted pictures from a cell phone may be retrievable, but some cell phone manufacturers have blocked the software that allows the retrieval because they offer similar software for a fee. It is worth a try to download retrieval software to see if your phone is compatible with it. But be advised: if it is not, your pictures are gone forever.

Instructions

1. Go to objectrescue.com and download PhotoRescue Pro. (There is a free trial version; the January 2010 purchase price is $29.95.) This is just one of several photo recovery programs available on the Internet.

2. Connect your cell phone, via the USB cable, to your computer.

3. Double-click on the PhotoRescue Pro icon to run the program.

4. Choose the type of files you want to recover from your cell phone. To begin the scan, click "Next."

5. If any pictures were recovered, a dialogue box will appear to notify you that the recovery is completed. Indicate where you would like the files saved.
