Copy A Whiteboard With A Digital Camera Or Camera Phone

Digital cameras, particularly those on a cell phone, give you the opportunity to easily capture information in a meeting. Taking a picture of the information on a whiteboard allows you to recreate valuable information when you get back to your office. It's a little tricky, but you can do it.

Instructions

1. Take a picture of the whiteboard with your digital camera. Stand back to get the entire image in your frame. You may need to take a few shots of individual sections of the whiteboard, if it's large and holds detailed information.

2. Use the settings on your digital camera to remove glare. Focus on something located near the whiteboard. While still holding the focus button down, turn and put the camera on the whiteboard and snap the picture. This helps eliminate unnecessary glare.

3. Send the image to your computer via email or copy it from your camera's image card. Email the picture to other people who need to receive the information.

4. Get more than a digital image from your phone or camera. Use programs that translate the data into a clean crisp document free of discoloration, caused by whiteboard glare. You can turn this data into great presentations of your own.

5. Sit back and enjoy your easily found productivity. You have just shown your department that you have what's required to get important information across to others.
