Turn Off The Beauty Shot In A Samsung Sl600

The Samsung SL600 is a point-and-shoot digital camera featuring a "Beauty Shot" mode that can automatically make corrections to the faces in portrait photographs when the option is enabled. Beauty Shot mode is not automatically enabled when using the SL600 but is selected when switching between different "Scene" options, which is one of the camera's picture modes. You can turn off Beauty Mode by choosing a different scene in the camera's settings or by selecting a different picture mode.

Instructions

1. Press the "Mode" button on the back of the Samsung SL600 to enter the "Modes" menu. The "Scene" option is highlighted.

2. Push the "Up" or "Down" navigation button to switch to a different mode, such as "Smart Auto" or "DIS." Then, press the "OK" button to select that mode and turn off "Beauty Shot." If you would prefer to use a different "Scene" option, leave "Scene" highlighted and go on to Step 3.

3. Press the right navigation button to access the "Scene" submenu. You'll see that "Beauty Shot" is highlighted. Press the "Up" or "Down" navigation buttons to highlight a different "Scene" option, such as "Night" or "Portrait." Then, press the "OK" button to turn off "Beauty Shot" mode.
