The Android home screen is customizable. You can add application shortcuts and widgets, as well as change the wallpaper to a still image or a moving, interactive live wallpaper. You can customize your Android home screen in a few steps.
Instructions
1. Press the Menu button, then tap "Wallpaper" to add a wallpaper to the home screen. Tap "Gallery" to select a photo from images you've taken with your phone. Select "Live wallpaper" to choose from the pre-installed animated and interacted wallpapers. Tap "Wallpapers" to apply a normal static wallpaper image.
2. Press and hold an empty location on your screen for approximately one second, then tap "Shortcuts" to add an app shortcut. Tap on the application you want to create a shortcut for. The shortcut will automatically appear on your home screen.
3. Press and hold an empty spot on the screen for about one second, then tap "Widgets" to place a widget on your home screen. Tap on the application widget that you want to add to the home screen.
