Music videos are stored within the music library on your iPod.
You might think music videos would fall within the category of movies within iTunes, but they are treated the same as music files and are transferred with your music library. However, to correctly associate the music video to the artist and song, you must ensure that the meta information, or the details about the music video, match the meta information for the song. When the information matches and you sync the music video to your iPod, you can access it from the music library.
Instructions
1. Purchase the music video in iTunes and wait for it to download to your computer. The music video will be automatically added to your iTunes music library.
2. Right-click the music video file in iTunes and select "Get Info."
3. Click the "Info" tab and ensure that the Name, Artist and Album information match the information for the associated song, then click "OK." This way the music video will show up in the list of songs for the artist and album.
4. Attach your iPod to your computer using the provided USB cable and wait for it to appear in the Devices list in iTunes.
5. Click the "Music" tab and select the "Sync music" and "Include music videos" options.
6. Click "Sync" in iTunes and wait for the sync process to complete. The music video is available to watch in your iPod music library under the associated artist and album lists.
