The Palm Tungsten E2 is a handheld PDA released in April 2005. The device features a colored touchscreen, Bluetooth technology and is compatible with both Windows and Mac operating systems. The battery on the Palm Tungsten E2 may need to be replaced. You can do this on your own without having to send it away or pay someone to do it for you. A replacement battery can be purchased online from Palm.
Instructions
1. Lay your Palm Tungsten E2 upside down on a flat surface. Make sure there is nothing sharp on the surface to avoid any scratches to your device.
2. Unscrew the four screws in the corners of the Palm Tungsten.
3. Pry the outside case off the body of the Palm. You may want to insert a flathead screwdriver between the two to help in the separation process.
4. Disconnect the two connectors from the motherboard by gently pulling them away from the device.
5. Remove the battery and replace it with a new one. You can purchase a replacement battery online from Palm. Reconnect the device by following the steps in reverse order.
6. Push the "Reset" button on the Palm Tungsten E2 to restart the device.
