Convert Aa To D

AA and D are the designations for two different sizes of batteries often used in consumer electronics devices. AA batteries are shaped like small cylinders. Whereas D batteries are about four times larger. Batteries vary in their precise composition and makeup depending upon the manufacturer of the battery. You may find that you have many AA batteries but not a single D battery for use in an electronic device. Instead of purchasing D batteries, you can use a battery converter and put your AA batteries to use.

Instructions

1. Open the case of the battery converter and place one AA battery inside. The case is the same size as a D battery.

2. Match the positive end of the AA battery with the plus mark on the battery converter and the negative end of the AA battery with the minus mark on the battery converter.

3. Close the battery converter case. The battery converter now can serve as a D battery. It works because AA and D batteries have the same voltage. It's that simple.
