Use A Tamron 28200 With A Nikon Digital Camera

Scenic vistas benefit from a wide-angle lens.

Many photographers use lenses from third-party manufacturers because they are often more economical and just as good as some of the lenses from the camera manufacturers. Tamron is a manufacturer of lenses for Nikon. A Tamron 28-200 offers a wide-angle lens and a zoom lens all in one.

Instructions

1. Turn off your Nikon digital camera. It is important to always have the camera off before you remove or attach a lens.

2. Remove the camera lens cover on the camera body. This is used to protect the sensors and the camera when a lens is not attached to it.

3. Attach the lens to the camera body by aligning the lens attachment mark on the lens with the dot on the camera body. Turn the lens counterclockwise until it locks into place.

4. Turn on the camera and start taking pictures. You can set the camera to the autofocus mode or to the manual focus mode. The AF mode will have the camera automatically focus on objects depending on what you are pointing the lens to. The MF mode requires you to turn the focusing ring while viewing the object through the viewfinder.

5. Adjust the zoom on the lens to compose your picture. Zooming all the way to the 200mm position will magnify the objects you are looking at. Going to the 28mm position will give a wider view of the object and its surroundings. Once you have focused and composed the picture the way you want it, press the shutter button to take the picture.
