Htc Touch Tips

HTC Touch is one of the latest touch screen smart phones released from HTC. However, not only is the main screen a touch screen, but there is a flip-down complete qwerty keypad as well. If you have never used a touch screen before, there are a few tips you should know before using your device.

Pressure

When using your HTC Touch, you may feel inclined to press harder if the screen doesn't respond to your touch, however, this is the last thing you should do. Pressing too hard will only damage the screen. It can actually harm or even break the touch sensors under the screen, which will cause that portion of the screen to not work. When using a touch screen this is the last thing you want to happen.

Heat

The touch screen is actually heat sensitive, not pressure sensitive. This is why pressing the screen with a pencil will do nothing. It is also why you may inadvertently press buttons when the screen is pressed against your leg in your pants. Because it is heat sensitive, you should keep it out of the heat. This can cause the phone to not act properly, and it may become difficult to use the phone. If the screen is already hot it may not detect your fingers trying to use the HTC Touch.

Protection

Touch screens can be much more prone to damage than a typical cell phone. For example, if your normal flip phone receives a scratch across the front, you may not care too much. However, a scratch across the touch screen will not only be annoying, but it may cause the HTC Touch to not function properly. This is why you should only carry the HTC Touch in its own, separate pocket, away from your keys. Just the slightest bump can cause the keys to scratch up against the surface, damaging your phone.
