Studio strobes like the Novatron are usually triggered by wireless triggers like the Pocket Wizard.
The Pocket Wizard line of wireless transmitters and receivers is a reliable tool for most photography professionals. Novatron strobes are not immediately compatible with the Pocket Wizard receivers, However, with an HH-Flash Sync to Mini Plug adapter, you can easily hook up your Pocket Wizard wireless receiver to your Novatron strobes for simple wireless flash triggering via the Pocket Wizard wireless transmitter mounted to your hot-shoe or through another adapter to your camera.
