Activate the XM radio in your 2007 Cadillac DTS online or by phone.
The 2007 Cadillac DTS includes built-in XM satellite radio as a standard feature. Some dealers offer a free trial subscription to the service, but satellite radio is not free. You can activate the radio to use the trial or purchase a subscription online or by telephone. You can choose from a number of packages, which you can customize based on your listening habits and interests.
Instructions
1. Tune your XM car radio to channel 0 to display the unit's ID number, and write it down.
2. Decide which package you'd like (see Resources).
3. Call listener care at (800) 967-2346 to activate your radio by telephone. Tell the operator which package you've chosen and provide the radio ID number and your credit card information.
4. Go to the XM Radio website (see Resources) and click "Activate Radio" at the top of the page to subscribe online. Enter your radio ID number when prompted and indicate which package you've chosen. Enter your contact and billing information to complete the purchase.
5. Turn your radio on and wait for it to acquire the satellite signal.
