MagicJack is quite comparable to most landlines, but certain features require additional add-on components to work properly. Call blocking requires the assistance of MagicFeatures 2.0, which is a software application that serves as an integration tool to block phone numbers. The MagicFeatures 2.0 dashboard panel allows you to block anonymous calls, incoming calls, specific callers and calls from telemarketers.
Instructions
1. Download and install the MagicFeatures 2.0 plugin for MagicJack.
2. Follow the MagicFeatures 2.0 setup instructions to plug it in with MagicJack.
3. Click the MagicFeatures 2.0 desktop icon once you have installed the software properly.
4. Double-click the MagicFeatures icon in the lower right corner of the application window. This action will take you to the MagicFeatures Dashboard.
5. Check the box that reads "Anonymous Call Block."
6. Go back to the Dashboard screen, and click the MagicFeatures icon again.
7. Access the Selective Call Rejection table.
8. Enter the 10-digit phone number in the Selective Call Rejection table. Then, press "Enter." All numbers entered in the Selective Call Rejection table will be blocked from MagicJack.
