Track A Gsm Phone

Global System for Mobile communications is a cellular technology that mobile networks rely on for data and voice services. Tracking a GSM phone can be done with a GPS system so long as the phone has service in a particular location.

Data Plan

Cellular carriers require users to sign up for a data plan in order to have access to GPS features. Upon activation of a date plan, register with a GPS program, which is then installed onto the mobile phone at no additional cost. Terms will need to be reviewed and agreed to by you, and the you must also register with the GPS provider by providing an email address and user name.

Tracking

The tracking process begins by sending a signal automatically to the GPS satellite that allows the satellite to read the location of the phone. Next, you must log onto the GPS program's website and enter the user name and email address to access your information. When the map appears on the screen there will be a dot--sometimes blinking or in a different color--which indicates the phone's location.

Continuation

Tracking functions continue as long as the GPS application is active and the phone is in an area where it gets cellular service.
