The Sirius S50 is a portable radio device that can access the Sirius network and output the radio signal so that it can be listened to with regular headphones. It is also possible to utilize the Sirius S50 as an audio source for a specific brand of Sirius boombox known as the Executive Home Boombox. By inserting the S50 into this device, or "docking" it, the S50 can serve as a source of audio entertainment in a home or office location.
Instructions
1. Connect the small end of the power cable to the power port on the back of the Executive Home Boombox, then connect the other end to a wall outlet.
2. Insert the cable for the antenna into the antenna port on the back of the Executive Home Boombox. Place the windowsill antenna as close to a window as possible. If the location of your Executive Home Boombox allows for it, placing the antenna outside of a window or on a roof provides the optimal radio signal.
3. Place the S50 radio into the center cradle, making sure that the screen of the radio is visible when looking at the front of the Executive Home Boombox. The S50 should be inserted so that the connecting prongs on the Executive Home Boombox fit inside the S50 radio.
4. Press the "Power" button located on the front of the Executive Home Boombox underneath the left speaker. If the display on the front of the S50 radio turns on, then you have correctly docked the S50 radio with the Executive Home Boombox.
