Some Sony Ericsson phones include features such as Java, Internet access and Bluetooth and infrared connectivity. Depending on the phone model, for example on the Sony Ericsson K800i, users can wirelessly send and receive software applications, such as games, using its Bluetooth connection. No downloading from the Internet is required, however, the receiving phone must have the necessary applications and functions (such as Java) in order to use the received application.
Instructions
1. Turn the Bluetooth on for both the receiving and host phones by going to the menu screen and selecting "Settings."
2. Scroll to the "Connectivity" tab and choose "Bluetooth." Select "Turn on" to switch the Bluetooth device on.
3. Go to your phone's menu and navigate to the location of the folder that contains the application you want to transfer. If the application is located on the memory card, navigate to that location.
4. Open the folder, and then click on the file. Press the "More" button, select "Send" and choose the "via Bluetooth" option.
5. Select the destination phone's handset from the displayed list of active Bluetooth devices and press "Select."
6. Wait for the recipient of the app to accept the file. After he accepts the request on his phone, the transfer begins automatically. Don't interrupt the transfer process or turn the Bluetooth off until the transfer process is complete.
