Make Your Own Music Video At Home







The tools to make a personal music video are readily available and within reach. A music video is a way to tell a story to the viewer. You can put one together with a little imagination, some photos and music. Using the video effects and transitions, you can turn those old photos and favorite music into a professional and personalized music video featuring family and friends.


Instructions


1. Open Windows Movie Maker.


2. Go to "Import," then "Pictures." Select the pictures to include in the music video. The photos will appear in the Imported Media pane.


3. Select and drag the JPG format photos to the Video row in the timeline.


4. Go to "Import," then "Audio or Music." Select the WMA format music file to include in the video. The music file will appear in the "Imported Media" pane.


5. Select and drag the WMA format music file to the Audio row in the timeline.


6. Expand the Video row in the timeline by pressing the "+" sign.


7. Go to "Tools," then "Transitions." Select and drag the transition down to the Transition row in the timeline. To remove a transition, select the transition in the Transition row and hit the "Delete" key.








8. Go to "Tools," then "Effects." Select and drag the effect onto the top of the JPG photo in the Video row of the timeline. To remove an effect, right-click on the JPG photo, go to "Effects," highlight the effect to be removed and click "Remove" and then "OK."


9. Play the video and add and remove transitions and effects until the desired result is achieved.


10. Go to "File," then "Publish Movie" to create the finalized video that can be played using Windows Media Player.
