TracFone's prepaid wireless service provides several basic cell phones. Because all TracFone plans operate using a "pay as you go" system, their phones do not offer the latest in cell phone technology. The most advanced TracFone devices offer a basic camera with the ability to view images. With a provided USB cable, TracFone owners can also transfer additional images to the device, limited only by the phone's internal memory.
Instructions
1. Locate the supplied USB data cable that was packaged with the TracFone device. Insert the smaller end of the USB data cable into the cell phone's USB slot. Connect the larger rectangular end of the cable into your personal computer's available USB slot.
2. View the "AutoPlay" window that automatically pops up on your computer's screen. Select the option entitled "Open Folder to View All Files." Double-click on a folder named "Images," "Photos," "DCIM," or something similar, to access the pictures already on the phone.
3. Open the images that will be added to the TracFone device using your personal computer. Most likely, the pictures are located in "My Pictures." Click on each photo's respective check box until all the desired photos are selected.
4. View the list of selected images collected from your computer. Click and drag the images into the TracFone's "Images" folder. Allow several minutes for the photos to download from your computer to the phone. After the files have been transferred, disconnect the TracFone device and the provided USB data cable.
