Use A Creative Zen Mp3 Player As An Organizer

A Creative Zen MP3 Player is much more than just a miniature jukeboxe. Depending on the model, you can use your player as a personal organizer to keep dates and appointments, and listen to your life's soundtrack all the while. If you already keep your appointments using Microsoft Outlook, you can easily transfer the data to your Creative Zen MP3 Player. Here's how.

Instructions

1. Press and hold the Power button to turn on your Creative Zen MP3 Player. (If the player doesn't turn on, recharge the battery.)

2. Synchronize your MP3 player with Microsoft Outlook. First connect your player to your computer with a USB cable. Then start the Sync Manager program, which can be located using Creative Media Explorer.

3. Select "My Computer" and your MP3 player as the device to sync.

4. Check "Organizer," then click on the "Sync Now" icon to begin the synchronization.

5. Select the information you want to import from your computer, then click the "Finish" button.

6. Select "Organizer" from the Main Menu on your Creative Zen MP3 Player.

7. Click "Calendar" to view the Calendar, or click "Contacts" and "Today's Tasks" to view those options. You now have a portable organizer.
