The Blackberry Curve is a popular cell phone because it is has many features including email, Internet and a music player. However, the Blackberry Curve has a limited amount of memory and cannot store a lot of music files on the phone itself. You can install extra memory on your Blackberry Curve by installing a Micro SD memory card that will hold many more files than your phone itself.
Instructions
1. Turn off the power on your Blackberry Curve. Before installing anything, it is important to power down your cell phone first.
2. Remove battery plate on the back side of the phone. To do this, press the silver release button and slide the batter plate off.
3. Pull on the exposed ribbon to remove the Blackberry's battery. Most Curve models have the smart disc slot under the Blackberry's battery.
4. Slide the Micro SD card into the slot. A silver card holder will lock the card into place.
5. Place the battery and battery cover back on.
6. Format the Micro SD card by powering your phone back on.
7. Click the "Options" icon on your Blackberry home screen. The icon will look like a wrench.
8. Navigate to "Advanced options" and then "Media card." Click on the media card with the menu button and scroll to "Format card." Click "Yes" to confirm you want to format the card.
