Fit My Canon Et 60 Lens Hood

Prevent light from striking your lens with a protective lens hood.

The Canon ET-60 lens hood is a circular, plastic device that fits over the lens of your Canon camera. For use with singles lens reflex (SLR) cameras, the hood blocks stray light from striking the side of the lens and causing flares, which can negatively affect the photographic image. In order to properly place the Canon ET-60 lens hood to your camera, you need to properly measure and fit it to the camera.

Instructions

1. Look along the side of your Canon camera lens, if you are unsure of the size of your lens. It states the length of the lens in millimeters (mm). This information should also be in your Canon camera's user manual. The Canon ET-60 lens hood is for Canon lenses with a focal length of 75 to 300 mm.

2. Place the smaller end of the Canon ET-60 lens hood onto the end of the Canon lens.

3. Twist the lens hood to the right. This threads the lens hood onto the camera lens, tightening its hold on the lens. Once the hood no longer turns, let go of it. The Canon ET-60 lens hood is now completely attached to your camera and ready to prevent flares.
