Get Chinese Service
1. Use the toll-free number 1-888-777-2454 to call DirecTV customer service and inquire about DirecTV Chinese service.
2. If you are comfortable browsing the Internet, you can also go to the company's web site to find detailed information about DirecTV Chinese service (see link below).
3. On the DirecTV home page, move the mouse cursor to the "Packages & Programming" option of the menu located to the left of the screen.
4. Select the "International Services" option from the resulting sub-menu.
5. You will reach a page listing several options under "International Services" in the menu. The same options are also displayed on the web page. Click "Chinese" either in the menu or on the web page to access information about Chinese programs.

MandarinDirec II Service: More economical of the two Chinese language services, MandarinDirect II transmits four Mandarin channels-MTV Chi, Phoenix North American Chinese Channel, Phoenix InfoNews and CTI Zhong Tian. The subscribers enjoy premium news, concerts, movies, music videos, financial news and a host of other Mandarin programs relayed from Taipei, Beijing and Shanghai. Call 1-800-378-5023 to order the service. Only those subscribing to specific DirecTV base packages are eligible to buy the service.
7. Jadeworld: Subscribers are entertained to current affairs, movies, serials, popular talk shows, cartoons, variety shows and several other programs from Hong Kong, Taiwan and China. Channels included in the service are CCTV-4, TVBS, The Jade Channels West, The Jade Channel East and The Chinese Movie Channel. Call 1-800-378-5139 to order the service. Only those having a DirecTV multisatellite system are eligible to buy the service.
