Hook Up A Veo Stingray

Veo is a now-defunct electronics company that manufactured various computer accessories. One of the items they made was a webcam called the "Stingray." Even though these cameras are no longer in production, it is possible for you to buy them second-hand. And as long as you have Windows XP or earlier on your computer, you can set up the Veo quickly and use it to video chat and message.

Instructions

1. Install the Veo Stingray driver onto your computer, if you have not done so already. The driver is the software that allows the computer to communicate with the camera. This software comes on a disc, but if you don't have the disc, you can download it directly from an online resource.

2. Place the Veo Stingray on top of your computer monitor. If you are using a laptop, use the clamp on the bottom of the Stingray to secure it in place.

3. Plug the camera's USB cable into an available USB port on the computer.

4. Click on the camera icon on your computer's desktop. The capture window will then open and you can use the control pad in the window to control the camera.
