To use the Motorola D650 adapter with your iPhone, you will first need to pair the iPhone with a set of headphones, such as a Motorola SD-9 Bluetooth device. Once this has been completed you will then need to pair the D650 adapter with the headphones. This needs to be done by using the "discoverable" mode on the headphones to enable the iPhone and the D650 adapter to find the SD-9.
Instructions
1. Put the Motorola SD-9 Bluetooth headphones into "discoverable" mode by pressing a button on the device. The headphones will be in "discoverable" mode when the blue indicator light stays on.
2. Go to the Blueooth menu on your iPhone and pair the SD-9 headphones. When the device is paired, press the "Power" button on the iPhone to turn it off.
3. Put the SD-9 headphones back into "discoverable" mode.
4. Press the "Power" button to turn on your iPhone. Play a music file on the phone and press the "Pause" button.
5. Insert the Bluetooth iPod Adapter D650 into the dock connector port of your iPhone.
6. Press the "Play" button on the iPhone and it will search for the SD-9 headphones. The blue indicator light will begin to blink when the adapter is searching for the headphones.
