All is not lost if you have deleted an important photo.
Digital cameras are modern devices used to capture the memories you want to keep. Photos are usually saved into a standard digital memory file format on a memory card. When you save a photo, the file is inscribed on a fixed space within the memory card. If you delete an image, the camera marks the space as "open," in order to inscribe a new image, and does not recognize the previous files. However, until you save any new images in the camera, the old photos are still there. As a result, you can recover your accidentally deleted photos.
Instructions
1. Download and install photo recovery software into your computer, for example: Disk Doctors Digital Media Recovery software or PC Inspector Smart Recovery.
2. Insert the memory card into your digital camera and connect the camera to your computer. Open the "My Computer" folder and remember the drive letter assigned to your camera's memory card. It is usually E: or F:.
3. Start the recovery software. Select the drive assigned to your memory card, and start the recovery process.
4. Pick a safe folder location in your computer to save the results of your recovery.
