Windows Media Player
is a media player that is included on all Windows base devices. One of its features is an ability to find and automatically sync files to portable devices. The Zune is built to work with Windows Media Player, which makes syncing and transferring files to the device that much easier. Compatible files will be transfered to the device automatically. You will have the option of converting files that aren't compatible with the Zune before the transfer. The Zune supports MP3, AAC, WAV, and WMA audio files.
Instructions
1. Open Windows Media Player. If you don't know find it, click the "Start." icon in the Windows taskbar. Click "Search". Type "Windows Media Player" (without the quotes) into the search bar and click "Search". Click the Windows Media Player icon that appears in the search window to open Windows Media Player.
2. Click the "Sync" button at the top of Windows Media Player.
3. Connect the Zune to your computer using the sync cable. Wait until Windows Media Player detects the Zune. You will know it has synced when it displays the name of your device in the sync window.
4. Drag and drop the songs you want to transfer to the Zune into the sync window on the right. Another method of finding the songs you want is to select "File", click "Open", and manually browse to the songs you want to add.
5. Click the "Start Sync" button to begin transferring all of the songs that have been put in the sync window on the right to the Zune.
