Reset Fios Tv

If you have FiOS TV, you are probably enjoying the clear pictures and stunning sound that the fiber optic network provides, not to mention all of the channels and On Demand titles available at any given time. However, sometimes you may run in to problems with your FiOS TV, and resetting the router and/or set-top box is an easy way to solve many common issues.

Instructions

Overall Process for Resetting FiOS TV

1. Determine if your problem is one that can be resolved by resetting your FiOS TV. Common issues that can be helped by resetting include problems with the Interactive Programming Guide, On Demand programs or DVR recording, missing menus or an unresponsive set-top box.

2. Reset the router first, to see if that will solve the problem.

3. Reset the set-top box, if resetting the router failed to solve the issue.

4. Call customer support if resetting both the router and the set-top box failed to solve the problems with your FiOS TV. Your set-top box may need to be re-initialized, or there may be a network issue. Customer support can assist you with these advanced problems.
