The excitement of downloading iPhone applications can leave you with pages of icons to navigate. Organize your iPhone applications into folders arranged by category or delete programs you no longer use. Once folders are created, you can see which categories of apps you have the most of so you can avoid downloading too much of the same thing. If a paid app is accidentally deleted during the editing process, you can re-download the application at no charge from Apple's application store.
Instructions
1. Touch an application on the desktop of your iPhone. Hold your finger on the application for about three seconds or until the applications begin to quiver. You will see a black "X" at the top right corner of each application icon. This "X" is used to delete icons.
2. Tap the "X" on the corner of the icons you no longer use or need. Use your finger to drag icons into the order you want to view them. To create folders, drag one icon onto another and a folder will be created. The iPhone will automatically give the folder an appropriate category name, due to the nature of the apps in the folder. You can also change this name, if you want. You can drag all other apps from that category into the folder by sliding each icon on top of the folder.
3. Click on the "Home" button at the bottom of the phone once you have edited all the apps on your iPhone. All the icons will stop quivering and your changes saved.
