The Panasonic KX-FHD331 is a combination fax and copy machine. You can use this machine in your home office to send and receive faxes. This machine is also Energy Star certified, which means it is designed to use less energy. To use this fax machine you must first connect it to a phone line that is currently working. You can then begin to send and receive faxes.
Instructions
Sending a Fax
1. Insert the document to fax face-up in-between the document guides. You will hear a beep sound when you have successfully inserted the document.
2. Press the "+" or "-" buttons to select the desired resolution, if you do not want to use the default.
3. Press the "Monitor" button and then dial the number to send the fax to by pressing the numbers on the keypad.
4. Press the "Start/Fax" button when you hear a tone from the machine.
Receiving a Fax
5. Lift the handset from the base when you hear the machine begin to ring.
6. Press the "Fax/Start" button when you hear a slow beep sound or the fax calling tone.
7. Place the handset back on the base and the reception of the fax will start.
